Define what the bathroom package includes

TONA lists SMC integrated bathrooms among its product categories. Begin by drawing the boundary of the package you want to discuss. A room proposal may involve wall elements, a base, fixtures and service connections, but the exact supply list must be established for the order. Describe the desired room arrangement without assuming that every item shown in a presentation image is included.

Show the room envelope

Provide a plan and elevations with the available dimensions and the position of the entrance. Mark structural obstructions and the relationship to neighboring spaces. Distinguish the finished room dimensions from the surrounding construction opening. If several room types occur in the project, label them individually and show how many of each arrangement are required. This avoids treating mirrored or revised layouts as identical units.

Locate the service interfaces

Indicate the intended locations of water, drainage, electrical and ventilation connections in the project documents. Identify the party responsible for each connection and for checking its coordination. Ask for the proposed bathroom arrangement to be compared with those locations. A room layout needs coordinated interfaces; selecting an appearance alone does not settle how the package meets the building services at the installation location.

Record finish decisions clearly

Use a finish schedule to distinguish colors, surface appearances and fixture choices that need discussion. Where photographs are used, identify the feature being referenced rather than requesting the entire pictured room by implication. State which selections are fixed and which remain open. Ask for samples or other evaluation material to be identified by a reference that can later be linked to the order documents.

Plan the project review

The modular bathroom project checklist can help coordinate room types, delivery access and responsibilities. Bring the architect, services coordinator and purchasing contact into the same document review where their decisions overlap. Record proposed changes against the current drawing revision. An inquiry becomes easier to evaluate when the room scope, interfaces and unresolved finish selections appear in one organized package.
