Place the tray in the bathroom layout
SMC shower trays are part of the TONA product range. Show the intended location within the room rather than beginning with a product photograph alone. Mark adjacent walls, the opening and the relationship to the proposed shower enclosure. If the project contains several tray arrangements, label them by room type so each inquiry item has a clear place in the bathroom schedule.
Distinguish the dimensions
Record the available opening, intended tray outline and drain location as separate dimensions. Use a drawing to show which faces the dimensions refer to. Finished surfaces and construction openings can differ, so identify the stage at which measurements were taken. Ask the project designer to resolve unclear reference points before a dimension is carried into the purchasing schedule as an approved requirement.
Describe the surface reference
An appearance request should identify the color, pattern or texture being discussed. A photograph may communicate a visual direction, but lighting and display settings can affect its appearance. Ask how a proposed sample will be identified during review. Where a finish has been selected for several rooms, keep the selection linked to the room schedule rather than relying on a descriptive color name alone.
Coordinate surrounding components
The tray inquiry should identify the intended enclosure and the surrounding floor arrangement. Provide information about interfaces that the project team already knows, then flag decisions awaiting coordination. Ask whether the offered configuration addresses the drain position and the edge arrangement shown in the drawing. Keep questions about assembly responsibilities separate from the product appearance so neither issue is lost during quotation comparison.
Choose the appropriate checklist
Use the surface finish options guide when appearance and samples are the main open questions. Use the size confirmation guide when dimensions, orientation and drawing references need resolution. For a tray within a larger bathroom package, also review the room scope with the integrated bathroom inquiry. Include an item reference on every drawing and sample request to keep these related purchasing discussions aligned.
